Fidlock TWIST bottles and mounts offer an alternative to the traditional bottle cage. A matching connector and base hold the bottle on your bike, leaving you free to choose a setup around the space you have and the water you want to carry. Explore bottles, mounting options and storage accessories for your next ride.
How Does Fidlock TWIST Work?
Magnets guide the bottle into position, then a mechanical lock secures it to the base. A twisting movement releases the bottle. This can make access easier where lifting a bottle out of a conventional cage is awkward, but you still need room for both the bottle and its release movement. The TWIST Toolbox uses the same type of mounting system to carry small repair essentials instead of a bottle.
Choosing Your Fidlock Setup
- Check what's included: A complete setup needs a bottle, its compatible connector and a base. Some packages include all three; replacement bottles or bottle-and-connector packs may leave parts out. Read the included-parts list before ordering.
- Match the base to your bike: The Bike Base attaches to bottle-cage mounts. A Uni Base uses straps on suitable tubes, providing another option where mounting bosses aren't available. Check the fitting requirements for your chosen base and frame.
- Allow space to use it: Compare bottle dimensions or Fidlock's fitting template with your frame, including clearance around a shock or frame bag. More capacity is useful only if the bottle fits and can be released comfortably.
Already using TWIST? Match replacement parts to your exact bottle and connector rather than choosing by capacity alone. If you use a Toolbox in your bottle position, plan where you'll carry your water. Our bottles and cages guide below explains the options alongside conventional cages.
