Why choose the Specialized Tarmac SL8?

The Tarmac SL8 is ideal if you want one serious road bike for racing, fast training, sportives and competitive group rides. It is designed to feel quick everywhere rather than being limited to one type of course.

It sits at the sharp end of the road bike category, with a clear focus on speed, low weight and race-bike handling.

Aero, weight and ride quality together

Specialized developed the Tarmac SL8 around the idea that speed is not just one thing. Aerodynamics, low weight, stiffness and comfort all need to work together on real roads.

That makes the SL8 feel at home on climbs, descents, flat roads and rolling race routes where the pace keeps changing.
