Returning a product under the WEEE Regulations.

What do the WEEE regulations mean?

WEEE (The Waste Electrical and electronic Equipment) Directive is UK law that governs the disposal and recycling of all electrical items. The law, introduced in 2014, puts the emphasis on the producers and suppliers of electrical equipment to pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electricals.

As a retailer that sells new Electrical and Electronic products we will take back old items, provided it is a like-for-like replacement when you buy a new product from us. We will then responsibly dispose of the old product ensuring that it doesn’t end up in landfill.

Old products must be returned directly to our shop or head office (details below) within 28 days of your new purchase, clearly marked as WEEE.

Disposing of equipment yourself

If you choose not to send your equipment back to us for disposal then you can dispose of any electricals or electronics yourself at your local recycling centre, who will dispose of your equipment via a controlled recycling process.

What products fall under WEEE Regulations?

As part of the WEEE regulations, all electrical and electronic goods produced after August 2005 that fall under WEEE regulations should be clearly marked with a crossed-out bin symbol which means they should not be included with household waste so that they can be recycled

As a responsible retailer we take all steps possible to ensure that our business meets all requirements of any EU & UK consumer protection laws, particularly the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and other legislation specific to the products that we sell.

Giant Trance X Advanced 2 29er 2027 Full Suspension Mountain Bike - Cryo Silver

Season:2027

Brand:Giant

Code:9109010CryoSIL

Built for days when the trail keeps changing, this bike gives you the control to stay relaxed and ride on. It climbs with a smooth, active feel, then settles in when the ground turns rough and steep. If you like a bike that feels composed, adjustable, and ready for proper trail riding, this one makes a strong case.

Ride Feel:

The Trance X Advanced 2 is designed to help you flow over technical climbs and carry speed on chunky descents. Its full-composite frame keeps things clean and responsive, while the 140mm Maestro rear suspension works with a 150mm Fox 36 fork to take the sting out of rough trail chatter. The result is a bike that feels confident without feeling dull.

Adjustable for the Trail:

This bike lets you tune the setup to suit the ride. A three-position Maestro flip chip changes the geometry, so you can go higher for more clearance on tight, technical ground, or lower for a slacker, more settled feel at speed. There is also a headset flip chip with 10mm of reach adjustment, giving you another way to fine-tune the fit.

Mixed Wheel Option:

It comes set up with 29-inch wheels front and rear, which suit stability and smooth roll-over speed. If you want a sharper feel and a bit more room at the back, the frame also works with a 27.5 rear wheel. That gives you the option to run a mullet setup for steeper, more technical terrain.

Built for the Ride:

The parts list matches the frame’s intent. SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission gives you a 1x12 setup with a wide-range 10x52 cassette, while TRP hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear help keep speed in check. A carbon Giant TRX WheelSystem and tubeless-ready Maxxis tyres round out a build that feels ready for real trail time.

Key Features:

  • Full-composite frame with 140mm Maestro rear suspension for a smooth, active ride
  • Fox 36 Float Performance fork with 150mm travel for control on rough singletrack
  • Three-position Maestro flip chip to adjust geometry for different terrain
  • Headset flip chip with 10mm reach adjustment for a more tailored fit
  • Compatible with 29-inch wheels or a 27.5 rear wheel for a mixed-wheel setup
  • SRAM Eagle 90 Transmission 1x12 drivetrain with 10x52 cassette
  • TRP EVO Expert hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear
  • Giant TRX carbon wheelset with tubeless-ready Maxxis Assegai and DHR II tyres
  • Integrated down tube storage and under-top tube storage mounts

For riders who want one bike that can adapt as quickly as the trail does, the Trance X Advanced 2 is right in the mix. Get out there and make the most of it.
