Ready for the next pressure check or puncture stop.

Explore SKS bike pumps for home checks, roadside repairs and air-suspension setup. The range includes floor pumps, portable hand pumps and rechargeable electric options, alongside shock pumps, separate tyre pressure gauges and valve adapters. Choose for your tyres, the pressures you use and where you want to keep your pump.

Which SKS Pump Suits Your Riding?

A floor pump is a useful starting point for looking after bikes at home. SKS models such as the Air-X-Plorer and Airkompressor give you options to compare for gauge readability, handle comfort and hose reach. Check the individual model's pressure range and valve head, especially if you're using one pump for several different bikes.

For the ride, a compact hand pump gives you inflation without a charging routine. Compare portable options such as the Injex and Airflex ranges for size, connection and gauge features. Prefer less hand pumping? An SKS electric mini pump can make tyre inflation easier, provided its capacity suits your tyres and you keep it charged for the next outing.

What to Look for in an SKS Pump

  • Valve compatibility: Check the valve types supported by the exact pump head, and whether changing between them requires an adjustment or adapter. If you use Clik valves, choose an explicitly compatible head or adapter rather than assuming every SKS pump connects in the same way.
  • Pressure range and gauge: Match the pump to your tyre size and usual pressure. Wider tyres benefit from greater air volume per stroke. Look for clear gauge readings around your working pressures; a large maximum number or digital display alone doesn't establish accuracy.
  • Home or on-bike use: Prioritise a stable base and comfortable handle at home, or dimensions that fit your bag and a connection that's easy to use beside the road. For electric models, compare inflation capacity, charging time and any operating or cooling limits.

A separate SKS tyre pressure gauge is useful when your carry pump has no gauge, or you want to use the same reference for every check. Choose a gauge suited to your valves and pressure range, particularly if you fine-tune lower pressures for gravel or mountain biking. For an air-sprung fork or rear shock, use a suitable shock pump and follow the suspension maker's setup instructions.

Keep tyre top-ups and tubeless fitting separate when choosing your equipment. A compatible tyre pump can top up a seated, sealed tyre; seating a newly fitted one may need a faster burst of air from a tubeless booster.
