Quad Lock phone mounts and cases let you use your smartphone for navigation and ride information without keeping it in a pocket. Build your setup around your exact phone and bike, whether you're finding a new route, commuting across town or heading out for a weekend ride.
Why Choose Quad Lock?
The cycling mounts use a twist-and-lock connection that joins a compatible case or adaptor to the bike mount. Out-front options position the screen ahead of the handlebar, while other mounting arrangements can suit different cockpit layouts. The wider range includes accessories for using your phone off the bike too, so the same compatible case can form part of more than one setup.
Choosing Your Quad Lock Setup
- Start with your phone: Choose a case for the exact model and generation, including any Pro, Plus or Ultra variant. If using a Universal Adaptor, check Quad Lock's surface requirements: its adhesive is not suitable for every phone back or case material.
- Check the bike mount: Match its clamp size and fitting method to your handlebar or stem. Allow room for the phone to rotate into place without clashing with cables, lights or a bar bag.
- Understand the connection: Quad Lock MAG cases also work with Quad Lock twist-and-lock mounts. A MAG head needs a MAG-compatible case or adaptor; choose a mount intended for cycling rather than assuming a car or desk fitting suits the bike.
- Check the complete package: Mounts, cases and adaptors may be sold separately. Confirm what's included, then consider your phone's weather protection and battery use with navigation running.
A phone can be a practical starting point for navigation, while a dedicated GPS computer may better suit longer rides or a smaller handlebar display. Our cycling tech guide below compares the options. Set up your route before leaving and stop somewhere suitable when you need to make adjustments.
