When we set out to design our new foldable Bosch e-bike, we wanted it to set new standards for flexibility, mobility and functionality. The fact that it also looks great is no coincidence because form often follows function. With its clever folding mechanism and integrated carry handle, the Fold Hybrid 500 is easy to store or transport in an efficient, space-saving size and shape. Simple saddle and handlebar adjustments mean it's quick to set up for almost any rider height. We included mudguards, a really stable kickstand and a sturdy rear carrier. And an optional front carrier – plus a wide range of bags and baskets that attach quickly and simply via innovative mechanisms – make it simple to carry whatever you need along for the ride. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

Front Carrier Ready
Our Compact Hybrid is already a versatile beast, packing an urban traffic-beating punch way beyond its diminutive dimensions. But if you need a little extra carrying capacity, the purpose-designed Front Carrier makes it even more adaptable. Neat, stable and secure, it provides an easy way to carry an extra bag to work, to the shops, or just because.

That's why we equipped our Fold Hybrid with a comfortable, convenient carry handle located in a position that makes it easy to lift and carry the bike. Pack Size
A folding bike is folding for a reason. That's why, for our Fold Hybrid, we focussed on creating a bike that wasn't just easy to fold, but also easy to carry and store. A pack size of 90cm x 60cm x 75cm means the Fold Hybrid is compact enough to put in the boot of your car, in the cupboard under the stairs, or take on the train... the possibilities are endless.

High-Performance Aluminium
High-performance aluminium is all about extracting the best possible performance from this strong, durable material. We select precisely the right grade of alloy for our needs, carefully tweak tube profiles to suit each application, and then meticulously weld each frame. It's your guarantee of a light, strong, durable and safe bike.

Gravity Casting
Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with our Hybrid models, we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.

Comfort Ride Geometry
As you might expect, our Comfort Ride Geometry delivers maximum comfort on two wheels. Because after all, who doesn't want a comfortable ride? We sweated the details of frame angles and dimensions to create a natural-feeling ride position and the ideal combination of stability and agility, so you not only feel comfortable but safe, too.

Semi Integrated Carrier
A luggage carrier needn't be a complicated, ugly addition to your bike. Our Semi-Integrated Carrier is so neat, you'll barely notice it... until it's time to carry something back from the shops, ride to work, or nip across town to fetch something.
